I took my very first four-legged babies, General a red golden retriever/Irish wolfhound mix and Bandit a miniature schnauzer, to Dr. Tiekert in the early 1990s. I’m hoping that this review serves as an acknowledgment for him. He was my first holistic vet. I treated my dogs holistically before I treated myself holistically. Dr. Tiekert made a difference for my dogs and also for me. I moved to Colorado in 1995 and have continued holistic veterinary care for my animals and myself ever since. Dr. Tiekert opened up the whole New World of alternative medicine for me. I remain forever grateful to him for all of his insight, expertise, and decades of hard work validating and paving the way for holistic veterinary care everywhere. Thank you, Dr. Tiekert.
