Thunder Mountain Farms Equine Rescue

My husband and I both volunteer. We bring carrots as treats and love on every single horse that will let us. This is a great program and the people who run it are kind and loving.

My fiance and I had THE BEST time visiting Thunder Mountain Farms in the end of August. I was absolutely smitten with Pixie and just seeing all the incredible things that Marla Ward is doing just made my heart overflow. I wish we lived closer so we could volunteer more often - but there is one thing for certain - Marla loves with her whole heart and does everything she possibly can to save as much lives as possible, and change a lot of lives in the process. I am honored to play any role in helping support the work that she does and so thankful we were able to visit. It is so sad to see how many people can be nasty in the horse rescue world & prevent people like Marla from having the impact she is meant to have - and I'll do whatever it takes to help these rescues save all the lives they ca
