The Western Dog Salon

I highly recommend the Western Dog Salon to anyone who is looking for absolute fantastic care of their pets ❤️ my little mini Aussie is DEAF and we always had a hard time finding someone who would groom her. Catherine was a godsend. She did not hesitate one second and took our little fluffy cotton ball in and makes her look absolutely beautiful every time. My dog absolutely loves to go and is always so excited to see Catherine. If you’re looking for an amazing groomer, Catherine at the Western Dog Salon is the absolute best.

Catherine took care of our boisterous six month old puppy while we went on a river trip for six days. She took excellent care of him. He clearly had lots of playtime and as we were leaving, Moki looked back as if to say goodbye to his new playmates and wonderful caretaker, Catherine. Totally five stars.

Catherine did a fantastic job with our pup. He typically has anxiety when going to the groomers. Catherine noticed his anxiety right away and didn't hesitate to comfort him. He took to her right away, which made me feel better about leaving him. Upon pickup, I was super happy to see that she actually took her time and left his hair a bit longer, like I wanted, instead of buzzing all of his cute curls off. Western Dog Salon is a bit of a drive for us but her attention to detail and the way she went out of her way to make our pup feel comfortable is well worth the drive. Needless to say, we will be back!

I have a young Border Collie who is a little skittish and hates everything about being brushed or getting a bath. I didn’t think I was going to find anyone who would be able to successfully groom him. I figured I would have to drive to IF or Missoula. Catherine was excellent and did an outstanding job on my dog. Very friendly. Very professional.

My dog had a great experience at Western Dog Salon. I dropped him off for weekend boarding. He came home happy, tired, and just the way I dropped him off. We are very grateful to have this option close to Salmon!
