Brant provided his 3 week boarding with training to Jude, a 7+y/o lab in the process of adoption. As Jude's guardian (previous owner recently deceased), using TTC in the transition was the best decision I could have made to provide proven guidance. Brant detailed every step of the process completing the program with comprehensive training for both the new owner and myself/my husband. Jude received extensive training, classical condition, trial & error play and appeared to have a great time in the daily videos Brant provided. Attention to many details impressed me and we are very happy with Brant Weller and The Trusted Companion.

Sending Heidi, our English yellow Labrador puppy, to Brant Weller for the three week board and train was the best decision we could have made for our family. Brant is a world-class trainer who is as patient as he is knowledgeable. He is kind, easy to work with and welcomed Heidi into his home. He didn’t just teach her commands; he taught her how to play and gave her the tools to be a well adjusted dog. The transformation is amazing - she went from nipping and jumping on the kids to a trusted companion. When Heidi returned home, Brant spent hours with us, setting us up for success to continue her training. We can’t recommend him enough. We enrolled our 1 1/2-year-old Great Dane, Ella, in the 3-week Board and Train program with Brant at The Trusted Companion, and the results are outstanding! We had worked with different trainers in the past, using various techniques but didn’t have great success. This was our first time doing a board and train and the experience exceeded our expectations! Prior to training, Ella was fairly well behaved and knew some simple commands; however, when distracted she would listen to us less. Especially in public, when encountering other dogs, people, or anything she wanted to approach or chase. At 120 pounds, it was challenging for us to manage her, so we realized we needed help. The short of it - the team is patient, reassuring and knowledgeable. My wife and I worked with Brant and Allie to make sure our puppy Gus grew up understanding boundaries and obedience. Gus is our first dog together; I grew up with dogs, my wife did not. The team at The Trusted Companion helped us learn alongside Gus through play to help him develop the skills needed to bounce back after corrections without long term fear or aggression. This team knows what they're doing and will answer any questions you have along the way.

We did a full board-and-train with Brant and were so impressed with the results. When a few new issues came up with our dog around other dogs, Brant offered a refresher session and spent a full hour with us, completely free of charge! His dedication, patience, and deep understanding of dogs truly stand out. If we ever get another dog, we will start with Brant from day one. Hands down a great experience. Highly recommend!
