The Sanctuary at Haafsville

The Sanctuary at Haafsville is a wonderful place run by some of the kindest, most thoughtful people I’ve met. The staff is genuinely friendly and clearly cares about every animal they look after, taking their time to make sure each one finds the right home, not just any home. The care and attention they put into every step of the process makes the whole experience feel easy and reassuring. It’s clear that the animals’ well-being is always their top priority. I have recently adopted another dog from the Sanctuary. Each member of the staff that I met was clearly caring about their animals. They take the time to make sure that each dog in their care finds the right home, not just any old home to move them out to make room for others. The need and well-being of the animal was paramount. My experience with this rescue was totally stress-free. Thank you for helping me find my new family member. I am already verbally spreading the word about this rescue and how great it is.

It's been nine months since bringing Gus (formarly known as Benny) home! This orginaization is amazing and I am so happy to see a rescue accomdate FIV+ cats.

I did not go in person, but I spoke to them on the phone. The staff was exceptionally nice and they got back to me right away. Unfortunately, they had no room for rehoming that I was interested in for my baby pup, but ultimately they have good reviews… Friends spoke highly of them…. and they referred me there. I would definitely recommend, and use them if ever needed in the future

Adopted a kitten here in the beginning of January. Staff was so nice from starting the application process to picking up my kitty. Answered any questions I had. Took their time going over adoption paperwork and explaining what steps I needed to take next( neutering and upcoming vaccinations).
