The Ranch TX K9 Program

We had an incredible experience with The Ranch TX K9 Program. From the star, they were honest and never pushed services we didn’t need. I asked about longer programs and they suggested we begin with the three week program and then use the three Personal training lessons to see how our dog progressed, no upsell, just what was best for her. The results have been fantastic. Our dogs reactivity on walks and around visitors has improved drastically. She’s almost like a different dog, still her sweet happy self but with so much more calm and control. Even a month after pick up, they still text to check in, watch videos we send and coaches through anything we’re working on at home. We have had multiple experiences with The Ranch and all have exceeded expectations. We did a 3 week board and train to work on reactivity and general obedience and the changes have literally been life changing for our family. My wife couldn’t comprehend what a difference 3 weeks would make and continued to ask if our dog needed more time, they never once tried to take advantage of that in order to up sell us on more weeks. They are a 3 hour drive one way, but since the program, we have boarded with them and won’t ever go anywhere else. Cannot recommend The Ranch K9 Program enough. I sent my 10 month GSD who is A LOT of dog to Ray and Heather to work with over 6 weeks. We picked her back up this past weekend and she is a night and day difference both on and off the leash. She is still such a happy girl and now has much more freedom through improved control and discipline. I am very excited to continue to work with The Ranch team to build on this amazing foundation.

Just picked up our Belgian Mal, Ares, from his initial training, and the Ranch did an amazing job with him surpassing any expectations!! It’s unbelievable what a difference they made in three weeks for him at only 12 weeks old. His obedience is more than I could have ever wished for at his age. It’s clear that the trainers at The Ranch are true professionals in all ways. Between the training, the facilities, the communication, the continuous support, and…most importantly…their care for Ares! It was very evident that Ares bonded strongly with the staff there! I had never left my 4 dogs at a kennel before. I needed to leave them for 6 days while I went out of town. I searched for a long time to find the right kennel. One of my dogs has special needs and cannot be handled. When I found The Ranch it was the answer I had been looking for! They have large indoor/outdoor kennels which are very clean and safe. James is very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and he is fantastic at communicating. I am very happy with my experience at The Ranch and will definitely bring my dogs back in the future!
