The Pooch Room

Freddy has been going to the Pooch Room in Winthrop since he was a puppy, and always leaves looking fabulous. This June, we wanted to experiment with some dye for pride, and Del did not disappoint. He listened to my vision, provided insightful feedback, and did a beautiful job on Freddy 🥰🏳️‍🌈 We couldn’t be happier!

I’ve been going to The Pooch Room in Malden for awhile now but now that they’ve opened up in Winthrop, it’s even closer to my house and is super easy to get to with easy parking. Javier and his team always do a great job with my yorkie Sophie. She is very shy and skittish with strangers so that worried me at first but they treat her so well. She always looks great (and smells great) after her grooming and they give her a cute new bow every time for her hair. Javier always addresses with us if he sees anything new with her that we might have missed (knots, skin irritation, etc.) which is always appreciated so we can take proper care of her and shows he cares for her as her groomer. Overall always had a pleasant experience.

My daughter and I have been taking our beloved pups to Del for over a year. His friendly nature and professionalism along with his great treatment of our beloved fur babies is truly appreciated and rare. I have recommended his service to my friends and they have been happy too. Del, the “twins” thank you, and so do I.

I went in here for the 1st time after driving by one day. They didn’t disappoint ! My cocker spaniel came out looking like a doll. She was matted and tangled because she licks herself a lot but Javier did a really good job cutting her hair and making her look her best. She had a very good cherry smell and he even put a bow on her ! Javier talked to her like if it was his own so that made her feel comfortable. We will definitely be coming back for her next groom !!

I have a senior bichon/poodle. His nails were ridiculously long and his hair was matted because I couldn’t get an appointment with any of the other groomers around. I stumbled across the Pooch Room quite accidentally. They were amazing and quick! Just look how cute he turned out. We have already made our next appointment.
