The Pet Works - Dillon

Very friendly and helpful! The place is always so nice and clean when we go In! The knowledge he has for all his animals amazes me!! So glad are small town has this!!! We also got our sweet axolotl from him!! Loved how he doesn’t pressure you into buying more if not needed. And his prices are great!!

Really cute local pet store. Not a huge selection of cat goods, but found what I needed. If I recall correctly, they were selling a canary, but no parrots and no puppies-- which is always a massive win in my books. Love supporting local pet stores without feeling like I'm feeding in to the parrot trade or puppy mills, genuinely. Could be neat to see more handmade/local goods in there eventually!

So overall this place is great. Nice staff and well looked after animals. Only problem is they are NEVER OPEN when thier hours say they are! They don’t even have actual hours posted on the store anymore yet google will claim that they are open. This is very inconvenient for some who live a ways out of town! I drive 2 hours to get to Dillon , and my only other option is two hours south. Feels like my whole day can be wasted trying to get food for my reptiles. I’ve tried calling , but they never awnser the phone ( I called every day this week to try and get hours and I didn’t get awnserd once. The store owner was talking about having to close if thier aren’t more sales …. But how can you sell stuff when your store is closed 5 days a week ?

I’ve taken my daughters here multiple times, and each visit has been fantastic! They loved seeing the wide range of pets, and the owner took the time to share interesting facts about each critter, making it a fun and educational experience. It really helped us decide which type of pet would be best for our family. Plus, they have a huge selection of pet supplies, so you could find everything you would need. I’d highly recommend stopping by!

The best pet store in all of Montana!! My family loves coming in and seeing what new animals they have every week. They have the best selection of everything your animal would need. Keep up the great work.
