Great staff, they had a good aquarium section. Got some beautiful guppies here. I have also been to the one in Longview WA and it is equally good 👍👍

The Pet Works is hands down the best pet store experience I have had. The employees were super knowledgeable, friendly, truly care about the animals, and went above and beyond to answer our many questions. My daughter purchased two pet male rats there earlier today that are now the loves of her life. The rats were all in great condition, and very well socialized. Even the Beta fish had big tanks, no sad fish in tiny cups here! I couldn't recommend the Pet Works more! Skip Petco and come here instead, the animals get way better care and treatment. 🩷 🐀🩷 🐀 🩷

I’m not from Astoria, but as I was headed home from a camping trip I stopped to walk around a bit and wandered into this store. I ended up buying 2 pet rats, as they just gave me that take me home look. As a rat person I was a bit cautious about getting rats from a pet store as sometimes pet stores don’t breed the rats they sell very well or only breed feeder rats which are quite different from pet rats. Also rats from pet stores tend to be a lot less socialized. Anyways so I told the employee I wanted to buy some rats and the other employee came to say goodbye to the rats which was very sweet. Then I took them home, and they are very healthy, and they are also very socialized, and used to being held. I think this is probably the only time I’ve ever gotten rats this healthy from a pet stor

Great pet store, went in for the self wash stations and enjoyed browsing at the store just as much. $15 for self wash and they give you all the supplies. Their dryers were useless but the rest was really great. Also really nice employees! It’s well stocked pet store with some local and smaller name items. It was nice all around.

Took my dogs here for the first time to give them a bath. Super friendly, patient, and helpful service; great selection of food, toys, and treats. We will be back!
