The Pet Boutique of Vail

Located in Vail Village, we got our dog Sidney the perfect birthday dress here for her Christmas Eve birthday. The owner of the boutique has great merchandise and was very nice to deal with as well. If you have a pet, this establishment is highly recommended!

Not even three seconds into walking in the store and we are told to control our dog by the owner. Our dog was entirely under our control and was just excited because of the smells and toys in the store. It’s like she wants only depressed and uninterested dogs to walk into this store. It sort of turned us off from wanting to shop there since we were afraid to touch anything and face the wrath of the wicked witch of Vail, who apparently owns this store. As we left, our dog sniffed some merch (a fuzzy blanket of some sort?) and was instantly shooed away and told “don’t eat it” by the same owner. It seems from other reviews that our experience wasn’t an isolated one. Unfortunately, the owner’s demeanor came across as unnecessarily controlling and unwelcoming. A more customer-focused approach

Wow. We observed NO negativity and thoroughly loved our visit today! Great selection of treats, toys and supplies. My dog recently passed away at 17 so I was visiting with, and made a small purchase for a friend - and the owner was so up-lifting. We live in Castle Rock and will certainly visit again when in Vail! One gets what one presents, and respect gets respect in return! I image being independent retailer today is not easy!

Found this gorgeous collar for Diesel, our Australian Shepard/Blue Heeler pup! The owners were so friendly and spent time talking to our daughter about tricks we can teach him! If you love your pup as much as we do, I highly recommend checking this place out!
