The Painted Reptile

This is by far the best reptile shop in LA. She doesn't do it for the money, she does it for the animals. I got all 4 of my reptiles from here, as well as regularly going back for my supplies. Let me tell you why this is a shop that truly cares. Firstly, the owner has years of with all different types of species. She also co owns a company that brings animals and animal education to schools and events. She gives back to the community, not only by taking in reptiles that can no longer be taken care of, but also offering children a place for volunteer and learn about different species and how to interact with them. My family and I had such a fantastic experience here! Even more than we expected after having a horrible experience at Petco. It was like night and day. The Painted Reptile really knows how to appropriately educate their customers, and I’m so grateful they did and with the approach in which they did it. They clearly know that I know nothing about reptiles, so they very kindly explained which reptiles would be a good fit for our home and which would require a lot more maintenance. I bought my daughter a bearded dragon from here in March. Everyone that works there is amazing. Brenda our dragon is healthy and adjusted fast. They were able to answer any questions or concerns I had the first couple days whenever I called. The prices are great! We are really enjoying are new family member

i was boarding my two white's tree frogs here starting 8/17 and on monday 8/21 they called to tell me that they had accidentally sold them. they're saying now they think that they were stolen. i'm really not sure what's going on & my texts are just straight up being ignored now. i just want my babies back. if you or anybody you know got a couple white's tree frogs between those days PLEASE let me know, i've had them for years and i'm devastated. happy to take this review down if/when they're returned to me but for now please keep this in mind!!
