The New Pike County Humane Society

Great place, take really good care of the animals there! Please donate they can use what ever you can afford no matter how little! Happy to help taking home one of the dogs there!

The facility from the outside view is well kept and the buildings housing the rescued or abandoned pets are heated and give comfort to the furry animals My first visit was to drop off dog beds, feeding bowls, and other pet needs. I met and asked a staff member what they fed the dogs and she said Purina One dry kibble. I offered to bring them some food and paper towels they were in need of. And the following day dropped off my donation.

Really thankful that despite being full they took in a dog that we found. He had wandered up on our porch a week ago and we were desperately trying to find him a place to stay since we have our own animals to care for already. Luckily they took him in and I really hope he finds a good home. If anyone is interested I think they are going to call him Bruce :)

Thank you to PCHS for my best friend, Elio! The adoption process was smooth and everyone on the team was lovely.

They lent me a trap for a cat. Very friendly and helpful.
