Volunteering at The Middle Way Sanctuary has been a great experience for me. The sanctuary is in a peaceful open space, surrounded by open skies and some of Colorado’s highest mountains. My typical day volunteering includes mucking stalls, helping with feeding rounds, and occasionally assisting with therapeutic sessions for visitors. Each horse has a unique story—many rescued from neglect or abuse. There is a family of beautiful Mustangs out there just waiting for you to come see them. 💛 What made the experience so special wasn't just the chance to work hands-on with these majestic creatures, but the sense of purpose and calm that comes with working with them.
