the Meadow Ranch dog training

The Meadow Ranch has been so good for my working line border collie. He leaves his lessons mentally exhausted and more balanced. As a veterinarian, I often recommend working with Kelsey for clients with herding dogs who feel restless and need a job.

Wow! Kelsey is an awesome instructor and the Meadow Ranch is a wonderful facility. Training my dogs here is the highlight of the week (and I’ve tried a bunch of different training places!). I never imagined I would be actually competing with my dogs but here we are! Kelsey uses humane training methods to keep things fun for me and my dogs. Kelsey has a great eye for how to help my dogs (and me) live up to our best potential.

I currently have the the pleasure of working with Kelsey as my dog trainer and I cannot recommend her enough! She is truly exceptional in her field and has a unique talent for connecting with dogs and understanding their behavior. From the first session, it was clear that Kelsey is not just a dog trainer, but also a passionate advocate for animal welfare and a wonderful teacher for pet owners. Kelsey is patient, kind, and knowledgeable - and my puppy loves going to her puppy class. Her positive reinforcement techniques works wonders and my puppy is learning so much after just a few sessions. Kelsey is also very responsive to my questions and concerns throughout the training process, and always takes the time to explain things in a way that is easy to understand. Kelsey Lawson at Meadow Ranch is a gifted agility instructor. She I feel very fortunate that she lives here and teaches in Western NC. Kelsey is very good at teaching individual owners and their dogs at their own levels and pace. She is skilled at knowing what each team needs to be successful and communicating that through her teaching methods. My whippet Whisper always loves going to agility class there. I would highly recommend her as an agility instructor.

Great price for group classes!!! I have been bringing all 3 of my dogs to Kelsey's agility classes and we are loving it. One of my dogs is really fearful and Kelsey is very good at meeting her where she is. Kelsey is great at adjusting training so my fearful lady can be successful and have fun!
