If you’re looking for an exceptional dog trainer, puppy obedience training, or pit bull training, Liberated K9 and Marissa are truly unmatched. We adopted a puppy from a shelter and were surprised to later learn he was in large part a pit bull. With three young kids, we knew immediately that investing in professional obedience training was essential to raising a safe, well-behaved family dog. Marissa exceeded every expectation. She is incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, educational, and down-to-earth. She didn’t just train our dog — she trained us in a way that felt empowering and realistic for a busy family. In just three weeks, our puppy was fully potty trained, learned all the basic obedience commands (sit, stay, down, recall, leash manners), and can reliably hold those commands. W

We adopted a american stafforshire terrier mix from Everett animal shelter, very nice dog but very protective. I've never delt with an aggressive dog before. He bit my brother, in panic I reached out to Marisa. She knew instantly we had big problems and made us a priority , she came to our home and spent time with us, helped us understand about dealing with aggressive/possessive dog. She worked with us religiously for the next month to get Ty at a place that we all felt safe. She literally saved him from having to go back to the shelter. I was very impressed with both her knowledge and professionalism. She's passionate about her work and it really shows. I highly recommend Marisa for any dog behavior issues you have. In fact we continue to work with her to shape Ty into a great citizen in

Absolutely! Love, Marissa at liberated K9!! We have a 15-month-old German Shepherd that we rescued about 5 months ago and Marissa has been working with Bennie for about 4 months. Absolute game changer. The difference that we have experienced since Marissa started working with Bennie is amazing!

My wife and I adopted a 4 year old rescue that is a Boxer/Pitty Mix (Storm). She was high strung and was having issues resource guarding. We did a web search and found Liberated K9. We reached out for information and help. Marissa got back to us quickly and we had our first in home session 2 or 3 days later. Marissa was able to immediately help identify what we can do different, gave Storm some training...as a result Storm was able to become comfortable around our senior dog as well as being able to stop resource guarding. Marissa is amazing! She is a true dog whisperer.

Marisa is the bees knees! She came into our crazy house with such a positive but strong energy that we needed for our girl Goose. She's had some aggression issues and Marisa was amazing at accessing her and giving us the tools to see a whole new side to her. At 10 years old, we didn't know if a change was possible but now we can see the light and our girl is even learning some new tricks :) Would recommend hiring Liberated K9 for any situation as Marisa has done wonders so far with our girl especially with us having two other dogs in the mix.
