The Highland Vet

I have been using The Highland Vet for 2 years now. Dr. Malone and the entire staff are awesome!! They treated my16 year old Shih Tzu "Gracie" for right at two years for bladder cancer. Dr. Malone and the staff were so patience in explaining everything in layman terms to me. They treated Gracie's with love and compassion. They were so supportive when Gracie passed away. NOW, they have my new Shih Tzu puppy "Maggie Grace" in their care. Its not just a business to the staff, they love the furbabies that they care for! I could not imagine trusting my pet to any other clinic then Highland Vet! Thank Dr. Malone and staff for all that you do! Debbie Thweatt

Was traveling from the Coast to DeSoto County the day before Thanksgiving. After noticing blood in my dog's stool on a potty break, I called my vet who instructed me to find a vet immediately that she must be seen. Even if it was an emergency clinic as most vets would be closed Thanksgiving and possibly Friday-Mon. Whatever was causing this would be lethal for her size (11lbsPom) if it hit the Pancreas before treated. It was 3:06pm Wed. Stopped driving immediately to begin calling vets near me. 5 would not see her between Ridgeland and Gluckstadt, MS.( was traveling N on I55) They were all booked -Sorry. I told them we were 4 hours from home, 3 hours to destination & her condition so they knew as well that this was an emergency. Finally got in touch with The Highland Clinic who said they

I have had such a wonderful experience working with Dr. Malone and every single member of the team there. Chelsea, Angel, Anna, Morgan y’all have been incredible. All of the girls are just fantastic. We are moving away and I will this clinic. Dr. Malone has made the upscale clinic a safe place for dogs and humans alike. She is an integrative vet who has done extensive continuing education in Veterinary Acupuncture and TCVM. I was unsure how my malinois would act since we just adopted him yesterday. The vet tech was super understanding and let us go into our own room to wait. Ronin ended up doing great and Dr. Malone came up with a treatment plan to get him back in good health!

They actually genuinely care!!!! I have a geriatric rescue and even though the cost was expensive, I am glad I chose to go here! I don't believe Frosty would have received better care from anyone in this state.
