The Grooming Barn LLC

I have to say that in the many years I've had golden retrievers, this is the most disappointing grooming job I have ever seen!!! I had an appointment at the Grooming Barn in Elizabeth City, N. C. on Monday May 19th, at 12:30. When I arrived early, I was surprised when I was told that my boys would be ready no later than 4:30. They said they'd call me when my boys were ready. They never called, so at 4:30 I returned to pick up my boys. I was then told that they were not quite ready; but would be a few minutes longer. Finally at 5:45 they said my boys were ready, so I went inside and paid. When they brought my boys out, I was shocked at what I saw. My boys looked worse than they did when I took them in! They had not been trimmed mich at all; certainly not what I had requested. There were str

Took Lucy(German Shepherd Husky mix) and Bullseye (Husky) to get a wash and a deshedding. OMG they look like whole new doggies, they must have lost about 10lbs of fur😂 I am very happy with the way they turned out, will be bringing them back. I typically do not bring Lucy to groomers she has separation anxiety but the workers were so sweet to Lucy she did so well and looked happy when she got home. Everyone go take your dogs here to get their summer grooming!

I think Amanda is an awesome person but I was very unhappy with my dog's service. I contacted her about my concerns and got no response. She didn't even try to make it right! So, I paid a lot for a "bath" basically. And now I have to take her somewhere else to get Georgette %. Very unhappy. Still waiting for a return phone.

I took my girl in to get groomed for the first time last Thursday and she still looks so fresh and clean! I couldn't be happier with the results. I already have two more appointments scheduled!
