The Fish Room

2nd edit. I received another simple email that stated order was canceled and refund issued. No explanation as to why. If I had to guess, the website claiming to have something didn't actually have it. I only say this because I was trying my hardest to find a certain item that would appear to have been discontinued a while ago. But this shop claimed to have it in stock. If that were true, it would have LITERALLY been the last one in the world. I was willing to try. So what's been learned is if you aren't going physically in to this store, I would be very hesitant about what you see online from them. I know it's a small shop. But at some point, if you want to remain a small shop by principal and commitment (nothing wrong with that at all) don't be online. And if you are online, make sure

Never responded tried calling, tried texting, tried setting up an appointment. But still no response. I won't go back.

Excited to see this store, We drove 30 miles to find it. It's definitely a small town store. Minimal fish selection, tanks were not the cleanest, plants were all in one tank, and difficult to see what they looked like. While owners were very nice, they seemed more interested in sitting on the couch, eating chips, and watching TV rather than engaging with the customers. After leaving there, we went next door to the Mexican restaurant and ate lunch, which was very good and made the trip worthwhile.

Been twice, both times, we were happy with our purchases. Good people to work with, will definitely return!

I was excited to find out about this store. I hadn't realized we had a fish store in our rural area with only small town. I wish the tanks, etc. were a little cleaner. We also had fish die from here, but I can't rule out that it might have been our own error.
