We’ve been taking our dog Roderick swimming and dock diving here for fun every few weeks. I think it’s probably his favorite place on earth and he shakes with joy at the mere mention of “dog pool.” It’s a very relaxed, informal environment and after our first helpful session with a trainer, we have just booked our own time and always have a blast. It’s so nice that even in winter you can just head to this pool for a good bit of doggo exercise and fun. And one time when Roderick and my head collided the staff kindly found me a cold bag of frozen veggies for my cheek lump. Highly recommend this place if you have a pup who lives to swim like Rod does!
Signed up my lab and my parents dog for a private dock jumping lesson. Both dogs were new to this but it was such a great experience! Sara is an absolutely incredible instructor! I already signed my dog up for another lesson. I highly recommend!
As the owner of a reactive dog, I was looking for ways to build her confidence, and swimming lessons seemed like a perfect opportunity. Our trainer Chelsey O'Connor demonstrated exceptional patience and professionalism during our first session. Despite my dog's initial anxiety and barking, Chelsey remained calm and encouraging throughout the lesson. Her understanding approach helped us make significant progress, and I was so impressed that I committed to a package of private lessons. I appreciate how Chelsey creates a supportive environment for reactive dogs to learn and grow. Although our future most available time doesn’t work with Chelsey, still looking forward to meet other trainers and seeing my dog's confidence continue to develop through these swimming sessions.
Not every dog is going to be perfect on their first try. This is something I hope people remember. It’s not necessarily the staff’s fault if your dog is scared or doesn’t do well the first time. Be open to hearing feedback and taking things slow. Dock diving takes time and patience. We’ve been going on and off for a couple of years now and I can safely say that time and patience paid off immensely!! After at LEAST a half a dozen sessions (with very little success jumping) the owner, Steve came in, and just gave a couple of helpful tips. It was like night and day. Trust the process and never force your dog to live up to your expectations.
We had such an amazing time at the dog tank. Will be going back for sure!!!! So happy to see my baby enjoying in the pool. He loved it ❤️❤️ Highly highly recommend this place.
