The Dog Spot

Out of towners here, not sure what happened. We had our dogs stay with them for 8 days. The owner said they feed the same dog food as we do so we didn't have to bring any and that they would feed them. When I picked up my dogs they both looked starved. My one dog has ribs and back bone showing as pictured. My other lost weight as well but does not look as bad as my other. My dogs scarfed their food and water down and then proceeded to throw up throughout the night. My dogs also act like they have been ABUSED. They cower and run when my husband and I raise our voice a little to talk to one another if we are across the room from each other. They also cower if we try to pet them on the head (especially while they are feeding) I am not sure what happened but I WILL NOT ever bring my dogs here

I understand accidents happen, but the way you handle them says a lot. If a dog goes missing from your facility, you have to put the effort in to find them. You also find a way to contact the owner or spread the word the dog is gone. What happened? What are you not being honest about? It would have been way better to admit fault and do better. I won't recommend this facility to anyone.

Anyone wanna explain how a dog went missing from YOUR facility and you failed to notify the owners?! Where is Ace?! I have also heard this is NOT the first time this location has LOST animals while IN the Dog Spots care! SHAME ON THIS BUSINESS! DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE FOR ANYTHING! They have been REPORTED to the authorities.

Does not provide proper service. Lack of surveillance has led to multiple dogs going missing. Also the lack of responsibility. If you're going to take care of others animals for a low price that's on you. Losing your customers animals or them coming back into the care of the customer seeming abused is not a good look. Do better.

kind and friendly people that treat all the people they interact with and dogs they get, like family. and i would highly recommend this business to anyone in the area. very "small town" of the people leaving 1 star reviews to back pack off of one person's "experience" and continue to spread such hurtful rumors without knowing the facts. or better yet, knowing the facts, and still choosing to twist and turn them into false gossip that spreads like wild fire in a small town. some of the kindest business owners i have interacted with and they definitely do not deserve the hate and ridicule they have been receiving.
