The Dog Lodge Daycare and Boarding

Diego had the best time of his life 😄. He had so much fun, played a lot, and was very well taken care of. I felt at ease the whole time since they kept in touch with me, sending photos and videos. Everything went smoothly from the very beginning. The price was fair and reasonable for 3 nights and 4 days. Thank you, The Dog Lodge and Donovan, for such a special place for our furry friends! We’ll definitely be back 🐾

I take my puppy here every week and she LOVES it! I feel so at peace when she is over there, I know she is in great hands. They have optimized the entire property for the safety and well-being of the dogs. They are selective in the dogs they take, so they only have super sweet dogs that I know my puppy will be safe with! They are really responsive, understanding, and quick to reply. I will be using the dog lodge for a very long time!!! They send me so many pictures and videos throughout the day of my puppy having a blast, it is truly a heaven for all pups and owners alike!

They have been a reliable spot for our dog, both overnight and daycare. Our dog is pretty high energy and excited to meet new people and dogs and she fits in great. She’s been so excited to go back each time. Donovan has been fast to respond and always keeps us updated during stays. Highly recommend!

My husband and I moved to San Diego not knowing many people in the area. We found Donovan and the Dog Lodge through Rover and could not have been happier. They took excellent care of our dog Oreo when he stayed the first weekend we traveled. They communicated very clearly, shared great photos every day, and Oreo was clearly a happy dog whenever he stayed there. We ended up using the Dog Lodge four different times (for trips up to 10 days) during our year in San Diego because they were so reliable and good to Oreo. Highly recommend!

I had a difficult time getting a hold of this business, even though I signed up for an in person trial via the website a few days early. I walk by the location quite a bit- and we are looking for a smaller day care place for my pup. I did not hear back from them until the day and time of my scheduled meet and greet had passed. I tried to call a few times leading up to my scheduled meet and greet, no answer. No confirmation email. At that point I thought this place must be out of business. The feedback I got was that they did not think my puppy would be a good fit because of his mix. They texted me to tell me this, and said it was because my puppy has German Shepherd and Husky in his mix. However, those breeds make up less than 5% of his DNA- so I just think that is funny.
