The Dog House

We have lived in Audubon for 23 years and have always had dogs...dogs that didn't necessarily need grooming. Recently, we adopted 11-year old Jake and you can see below, he definitely needed a spa grooming! I called The Dog House on a Friday afternoon. Lisa Marie, the owner, picked up on the second ring! So lovely to speak with, answered all my nervous mom inquiries and was able to give us an appointment for the next morning! I was nervous yet excited for Jake...a blueberry facial, an oatmeal bath and all the other treatments included. As a shelter dog, we weren't sure what his reaction would be. Lindsay and I have been coming here for over 2 years and we are elated with the service. They treat our dogs with high quality care and respect. They are timely, professional and affordable. We also appreciate their thoughtfulness, always giving our fur-babies parting treats (every holiday). That’s a special bonus. The before and after photos speak for themselves. I brought my dog in asking for a trim. They cut all my poor boys hair off--in the middle of the winter. I will never go back. And this doesn't even speak to their terrible customer service. I got a call at 143 telling me my dog was done and they are closing at 2. 17 minute warning to not incur an additional fee (i managed to get there before 2 nevertheless).

Took my puppy for the first time and they were absolutely wonderful with her. Pricing was great and they gave these amazing dog treats to my dog at no charge. Very nice! She came home smelling and looking great! Would highly recommend!

Used to go here and NEVER was satisfied. First few grooms were decent, then I started noticing my golden retriever was getting scared to go in. She’s never done this at any other groomer, as she’s usually excited. They did a dye job on her as well, it was spotty and uneven. No one knows what these people are doing with our pets back there, but I don’t like it. DO NOT GO HERE. Instead, another great groomer that I recommend to everyone is tailored tails in Haddonfield. A bit pricey, but they bond and make your dog look like they are about to be in the national dog show. Also does dyes MUCH better.
