The Crate Escape

I was really hoping to like this place but unfortunately that didn’t happen. The place smells horrible. Our puppy comes home smelling like urine. It’s awful. There’s no way to see exactly what goes on behind the closed doors. There’s no viewing area. I’m not convinced water is available. Once we get him home, he drinks A LOT of water, more than he typically does. He was so excited when I picked him up, he almost knocked me down. I’m not comfortable taking him back there. Just beware this place might be the one you’re looking for.

April, Nicole, and all of the staff are wonderful here! They take such good care of our fur babies and go above and beyond for them. Some of our dogs have had health issues and they don't blink an eye. I don't hesitate to trust them with our fur babies!

I have taken some time to write this review so that I could do it calmly and factually. I chose the Crate Escape to board my 2 year old intact Pitbull mix for the 2 weeks I was out of state because of their stars and word of mouth. However, I feel obligated to leave my review to warn other parents because I was appalled at the condition I found my baby in when I returned. Please note, I do not have any malice towards this business, I just don't want any other parents to experience what my baby endured. When I checked Smiley in, I explained to Nicole that I was nervous about boarding him because he had been abandoned by his first owners. Cat and facilities reeks like urine and feces. I really don't usually post reviews, and really try to support local business, BUT...The place smells overwhelmingly like urine. I am traveling and I boarded my cat here for 9 days. There was no other option as the other places required a stool analysis within the past 30 days. When I picked her up, she reeks like urine and feces to the point that I am dry heaving when she is near. They mentioned she was laying in the litter box, which she has never done, but okay. Was it ever cleaned??? Really makes me question the quality care in the other ways if you do not clean excrements regularly.

These people are the absolute best! They are our "go-to" for every trip we take. They are not only knowledgeable and friendly, they truly love our pets. I have no concerns while I am gone!
