The Clever Canine

Enrolling our Australian Shepard Cody in The Clever Canine series of courses was one of the best decisions we made. The benefit above just basic obedience training was encouraging him to make good choices and rewarding him appropriately, and having him focus on us with tons of distractions. He is definitely on his way to being an excellent citizen thanks to what we have put in practice!

The Clever Canine's training me first and then Maggie were superior. I became a first time dog Mom at 46 years old. I had no CLUE what I was doing and many people were trying to give me advice. I was also living in a residence hall of 500 undergraduates as their faculty in-residence. The Clever Canine came in and and from day one assisted me in teaching Maggie and I how to work together to achieve the behaviors I wanted to see in my dog. I have taken both private and group training' that were offered and both were exceptional. The Clever Canine truly cares about the dogs they train as well as the success of their owner's. Their work with Maggie and myself is still evident to me today. I just drove cross country with Maggie and I applied techniques taught me into the preparation plan

I can’t recommend The Clever Canine enough! Kris is an excellent trainer and coach for both the dogs and humans. She tailors every class to the individual needs of each dog in the room, and works really hard to make sure everyone is having success. My pup and I really enjoyed attending her classes and learning how to work together.

Kris is one of the best dog trainers we have ever met. She is very intelligent, kind, and patient, and helped us train our crazy puppy into a well-behaved dog. She hosts classes and offers individual training sessions at the dog's home, and we saw positive improvements with our dog very quickly!
