The Barker Shop Grooming & Boarding

Brit & her staff are fantastic & make all over our sweet girl any time she’s there, whether it be for grooming or boarding. We have 0 concern leaving her in their care knowing she’s well cared for, safe, and loved. They do a great job of communicating with genuine, honest, personalized feedback to any questions or concerns we’ve ever had. Couldn’t ask for a better place to take our girl. Keep up the great work Barker Shop!

First of all, once I went to drop my dogs off I was required to sign this form of how much I was willing to pay at the vet in the event of an emergency and also if I wanted them cremated and which place I preferred them to be cremated at. I have never had to sign this type of form at any other boarding places I have been to, but apparently this place has had these incidents so many times that they needed to develop this form. I also had to make a choice on whether I wanted notified or not, which is when the boarding worker stated you’d be surprised at how many people accused us of ruining their vacation….ummm yeah, that was all a red flag that made me uneasy, but they were already booked and we were literally dropping them off on the way to the airport and had to catch our flight. Since you turned off the ability for my wife to respond to calling you out on your lies, here is her response to your response: The part that upsets me most is the fact that you continue to LIE!!!  You are even contraindicating yourself in your own response.  Both dogs were already taken back and the staff returned out to the desk and we talked more and my husband went out to get the dog food and came back in.  We asked if you needed anything else and was told “no, we're good” and was not told of any incidents or concerns (this was after both dogs were taken back).  We did not just shrug our shoulders or scurry off and even if that was true, why didn't you call us and notify us?  Also I called on Day 3 to check on them and was told they were good boys and doing great.  No issues were told

If Genesis loves it then I love the place. They do a great job and it's not expensive. They are quick at what they do as well.

Walked in and got both puppies nails trimmed. The tech was polite, explained what she was doing. It was the best job anybody has done. I will definitely be returning.
