The Animal Hospital & Pet Resort at Southwood

Extremely happy with this clinic. I was able to schedule an appointment for the very next day, and since we had just moved, it was our first visit with a new vet. The front desk staff, technician Ash, and Dr. Rhilinger were all wonderful. Dr. Rhilinger took the time to go over every possible concern and explained everything clearly and thoroughly. We couldn’t be happier to have found our new vet!

We have been loyal to Southwood Animal Hospital since it opened. Today as I wait with my almost 20 year old cat whom I adopted from Northwood Animal Hospital. Kitty needs a solencia shot. We arrived on time to our 11 am appointment and took a seat after checking in. We have been waiting 10 minutes when a technician approached me and said they just gave away kitty's solenica shot because the cat before her was bigger and needed 2 shots. I asked when will you get more? She had no idea as the girl that orders it is not here. What is the point of making appointments. You wasted my time and now my cat doesnt have her necessary medicine due to your poor planning. Had I missed or been late to this appointment you would have charged me. Terrible service!

The team takes such good care of Belle that she gets excited before we even pull into the parking lot, then rushes to them as soon as we get inside. (And, I swear she seems disappointed when I come to pick her up!) :-)

The Animal Hospital at Southwood is the absolute best. The most amazing and compassionate staff (receptionists, vet techs, and veterinarians). My 2 dogs see Dr. Smith and my cat sees Dr. Brown and I am always so happy to talk to them at our appointments because they are so sweet and informative. You can tell they truly care about your babies. But, the awesomeness of this place doesn’t stop with the veterinarian services- they have an amazing pet resort too! I’m always comforted leaving my babies here because I know they will be taken care. We get pictures of them during play time and they come home all smiles with a little report card! Unfortunately, my family is moving to Texas and the saddest part about our move is that we won’t be a part of the Southwood family anymore and will have to

Excellent service. We were in Scotland and they kept us informed of any changes. Our cat needed more cuddles and he got them. The accommodation was spacious and they continued the small dog’s medication regimen. Most of all we were confident they were getting the best care. Definitely recommended.
