The team at Animal Clinic of Woodland Park is exceptional! Dr Volz discovered my supposed neutered dog was never neutered after only one initial exam and my appointment wasn’t even to address that. They were able to perform the internal neutering at the same time of his dental visit saving me time and money. They have taken excellent care of all 3 of my pups and always go above and beyond with helping me understand what is happening and what is needed for their best care. I moved about 90 mins away from their office last year but continue to make the drive over to them because there is no other team I trust with my little family. I cannot thank them enough for all the love and care they’ve given my dogs and myself. Thank you guys! Amanda Harvey

There is no veterinarian our family has ever trusted above Dr. Volz. He has removed several large masses from our oldest husky, all after he was 10 years old. The way he explains the health situation and the surgery means and methods gives us the utmost confidence that our fur babies are in the best hands. Our dogs have also had great visits with Dr. Hannah and Dr. Annalise - you can see that the knowledge in that building gets spread around to all. It is a great team environment everytime I walk in, and I really appreciate all of the hard work of your doctors, techs, and office staff. My husband and I moved to town in 2025 and finding The Animal Clinic of Woodland Park has been one of the biggest blessings! From our very first visit we felt at home and knew we found the best vet in town! Every single person on staff is amazing and loves our dogs as if they were their own. After moving here one of our dogs was diagnosed with cancer and Dr.Hopkins took the best care of her all the way up until the end. Their hours are wonderful and they can do it all! We recently got our other dog’s teeth cleaned and they have never looked better. I cannot recommend The Animal Clinic of Woodland Park enough - thank you for taking such great care of our babies!

The new vet was SO patient and understanding with my new dog. He’s about 8 months old and shy with strangers. She was able to complete the exam and give him vaccines without incident. Five stars. I love this vet practice! 🩷

Dr. Volz is an amazing veterinarian. He repaired my yellow Lab’s torn up knee back in 2006 and most recently, I took another one of my dogs to him for a second opinion. He’s located in Woodland Park, so it’s a little bit of a drive for me coming from Colorado Springs, but well worth it. The first opinion I received from a vet in the Springs, but I wasn’t comfortable with her diagnosis/treatment plan. Dr. Volz examined my dog, looked at her X-rays, got on the floor with her and answered every question I had. The first vet I took her to had recently bought my previous vet’s practice and then changed it. As a result, I felt like their primary motivation was money, not necessarily my dog’s best interest. Not so with Dr. Volz. He put my dog first. I will make the drive up to Woodland Park whene
