The Animal Clinic of Kearney

I have been seeing the FANTASTIC staff here for 18 years and they really are the BEST!! We recently brought our adopted mixed breed senior in for his first teeth cleaning and it couldn't have been a better experience. Even tho he lost 13 teeth, everything went as smooth as can be and I couldn't be happier. The cost of the dental may have been more than other clinics, but I believe the service we received was worth the price. Benny agrees!!

Dr. Serad and Dr Nelson and the entire staff from the reception to the veterinary technicians have taken amazing care of my dog. Twice making life saving diagnoses and providing treatment that saved his life. They ALWAYS go above and beyond with their care. They not only provide great medical care they provide it in a professional and compassionate way. They explain recommended test and all the pros and cons in an understandable way.

If 0 stars were an option that would be 3 too many… Dr Smith is absolutely clueless when diagnosing a severe cat illness. In 20 minutes he went from liver disease and bloodwork, to cancer and definitely ruled it out, to heart disease and some X-rays. Still wrong. Then he comes up with FIP a highly contagious virus that you will need to have contact with. Our several thousand dollar Bengal has never been outside or around other animals… He then sent a 500$ in total test off to confirm FIP which he said is new to him and results would be back in a day..He was wrong..He left town for a week. My cat had already not eaten or drank in 3 days at this point. We were then sent home to wait on results from him watching her suffer.. Animal Clinic of Kearney never disappoints. I brought my cat in for an ear infection today and she couldn’t have been more at ease. Dr.Smith and staff were so kind and knowledgeable from the beginning to end of my appointment. Thank you!

About 2 weeks I woke up to an emergency, my cat was bleeding profusely from a wound I was previously unaware of. New to Kearney, I had yet to establish a vet, but called this clinic because they opened earliest to see what they could do and if they could even get me in with no appointment. Although they had patients all day they told me to bring her in immediately, came to get her as soon as I arrived, and took care of her! I was told they might hold her all day due to their schedule, however, it took less than an hour for me to get the call to come pick her up as she was ready to go. Additionally, they called 3 days later to see how she was doing (much better).
