I have so many great things to say about Tharp and Canine! First, I have a reactive 10 month old German shepherd mix. I searched for weeks for different trainers and programs who would take him on, especially ones that weren’t group training since I’ve done something similar before, but he needed something tailored to his needs. I had the pleasure of working with Tharp and Canine to help with my high-drive dog, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Tharp's expertise in dog training really made a difference, especially when it came to teaching the "out" command. He was patient, consistent, and provided clear and concise instructions that helped my dog understand what was expected. Tharp and Canine was the best decision I could have made for my 10 month old pup. I sent her for their tier 1: 4 week board and train program. Travis and his wife were exceptional with Lula and provided lots of photos/videos so that I could follow along with her progress as well. This is not a typical training program. In a short amount of time, in real world settings/situations, she learned to be obedient as well as understand the expectations her handler has of her. I was provided with support even beyond the end of her program so they could ensure I knew how to truly apply and get the most out of what she learned. I would send every dog of mine to Tharp and Canine.
