I can’t recommend TRUAA enough. We adopted our dog Milo from TRUAA, and we are incredibly grateful for the care and socialization TRUAA provided to our dog while in their care. Our dog is incredibly well socialized with other dogs, and we attribute that to TRUAA! The adoption process was very smooth. We applied online for Milo. Once our application was approved, we were able to FaceTime with Milo (we live in the northeast), see how he engaged with other dogs, and ask all the questions we could think of. TRUAA provided the safest transport they could find for the long journey north, and chose to put Milo and other dogs in a smaller van opposed to the large trucks some dogs are shipped on. I recently used TRUAA boarding service for my two dogs, Libby and Rambo, and I can’t say enough about how wonderful the experience was. From start to finish, they provided exceptional care that truly put my mind at ease. They sent regular photos and videos, keeping me updated on how happy and comfortable my pups were. Both dogs were clearly having a blast! Ronni, Alex and his Sara went above and beyond, offering long-term care options and ensuring every detail was covered. When I picked up Libby and Rambo, they were freshly bathed, nails neatly clipped, and even sporting adorable bandanas—a delightful touch! Never, Never, Never !!! Beware!! Never adopt a dog without a home visit. You are dealing with an animal that you have no idea how it will react in your home. I adopted from TRUAA and was told the dog was “good with cats “ and breed was “Corgi andTerrier”- Mannie the terrier part wasPit Bull and 3 days into keeping my cats and dog confined because of the dog’s aggression at merely seeing the cats; the dog pulled away from me-I fell and dog chased my cat who injured his foot so badly it had to be amputated. I am struck nursing an innocent cat recover and I’m out $2600. They refuse to accept any financial responsibility. As good as my intention was to help a homeless dog- this turned out very badly. We were looking for while for a herding breed but “chill”. I told my husband that is practically not a thing. We spotted a beautiful male 7mo Heeler mix that was described as “chill” among other things. We thought why not go check him out. So we contacted TRUAA and went out to see Apollo, who we now call Kirby. We took our other dog to make sure they were ok with each other. Kirby was exactly what they described him to be, he is a goofball, chill, lovable boy and he is now part of our family. Thank you 😊 for the best dog ever.

My dog and I had our first training session with Alex Mcgehee. It went very good today. I highly recommend Alex To anyone that needs help with their dog. He is very knowledgeable and patient. I have to say my dog trained better than I did. He gave me great direction with the task of training my dog. We definitely will be returning for more training sessions. Thank you for providing this type of service for pets and their humans.
