We got our wonderful dog, Bear, as a puppy from Texas Duck Dogs. The whole process from the first inquiry all the way through the basic hunter program was fantastic. Wade and his team do a great job training every aspect of dog ownership. Bear did great in his first hunting season, and he is also a great house dog. I just picked up Oakley, my chocolate lab, that has been at Texas Duck Dogs since she was 6 months old. During her time there, she finished the head start program, basic hunter program, and the senior hunter program. I was uneasy leaving her for the first time, but that fear quickly disappeared when I saw how happy she was to come back after her first weekend visit home. You could tell that her trainer, Garrett, really loved on her when she ran right back to him with a wagging tail. While she was there, through each step of the way, they kept me up to date with her progress and invited me out monthly to see how she was doing. I enjoyed seeing her progress each month. Everyone should definitely take their puppy here if given the opportunity. Hands down the best Lab trainer around. Best money I’ve spent on & for my dog. Trainers are top notch & trained me along with “Rip” so I know how to be the best handler I can be as well. Great experience, great people, my dog is unbelievably awesome. I recently picked up my yellow Labrador Retriever after he received training from Texas Duck Dogs. Mr. Wade Cashion, owner and head trainer, took the time from his busy schedule to give me a tour of his property and training facility. Mr. Cashion walked me through various drills with my new dog which included land and water retrievals. My dog performed well. Mr. Cashion made sure all of the small details were covered both with me and my dog before I left his training facility. He also offered to allow me to come back to his facility to run my dog at anytime.
