If I had the time I would write a book about our experience with Texas Adoption Center. From Kaitlyn, to Stacey, to Kenna, and Tracie -- each step of the way they all cared and were beyond helpful. We signed on with TAC and quickly matched elsewhere upon signing on with them. I was bummed that we weren't going to get to work with them. After a difficult disruption, I emailed Stacey and they got our profile live again instantly. She provided support where she didn't have to, and I truly felt like she cared about my family. We signed with Texas Adoption Center 9 months into our adoption journey. Texas is where we met and will always have a special place in our hearts! From the beginning, the conversations with Kaitlyn and Stacey were easy-going and very educational on the process that each expecting mother and adoptive parents go through. It wasn’t until we got the call from Stacey that we had matched with an expecting mother that we truly found out how amazing Texas Adoption Center is! They answer your questions through the process and if they didn’t know, they would find out and get back to you within the week! Our caseworker Jill was phenomenal to work with. Tracie with TAC, and TAC as a whole, has been wonderful to work with before and after our match and placement. The time during any match can be nerve racking and full of anxiety. Tracie was so comforting when we started to get worried or anxious. Any time there was any awkwardness or an uncomfortable topic that was brought up, Tracie was there to help guide all of us. We loved how TAC took such good care of our birth mom. I know our birth mom felt so close to Tracie to where she asked Tracie to stay the night with her in the hospital. My husband and I can’t thank TAC and Tracie enough for making this process smooth for us and our birth mom, and making our baby, our birth mom, and ourselves the center of anything they did. I am so thankful my doctor shared her adoption story and information about TAC with me. I was nervous at first... I thought, there's no way I can trust some strangers to know the right kind of family I hoped for my child. I even worried I would select the wrong family... but with Tracie by my side the whole way guiding me through the process everything felt easy, right, natural. We had a great experience at Texas Adoption Center with Jill, our adoption specialist. From the match through the post-placement, everyone was kind, welcoming, and the communication was excellent. The process went smoothly and Jill was a pleasure to work with. She always made sure we were comfortable and updated throughout the process. Highly recommend!!
