Terry Parkway Animal Hospital

Everyone at this animal hospital is very kind and empathetic. My regular vet was out today, and they were able to take me last minute to put my old baby to sleep. They were gentle and respectful, and my baby was kindly laid to rest. I'm very thankful to them.

All of my pets.. and several rescues on their way to their furever homes... have been patients of Dr. Salles for 12 years. Not only patients... but friends. Dr. Salles and his staff go above and beyond for our babies. They care about them as if they were their own. The care they receive is top notch. I have learned so much from Dr. Salles because he takes the time to talk to us as pet parents and explain things. We were new to Nola when we found Dr. Salles... I had left my cat’s insulin in a refrigerator during Gustav evacuation and he didn’t bat an eye when my husband walked in with the box and said we needed help. I could tell a thousand stories about how lucky my pets are to be his patients. Even during the hardest time.. when it comes time to let go... you feel as if you are among fami

I have been taking my pets here for over 20 years. I wouldn’t go anywhere where else. He gives the best care. Has great techs that work well with all pets. Let’s see. He has seen me through 2 Rottweilers. 1 German Shepard. 2 Shepard mixes. 1 beagle. All have passed over the rainbow bridge. But lived a great life due to his great vet care. Currently I have a tabby cat and Japanese chin. Both love going there. You will not be disappointed in the care given. He has his own ear concoction used on one of my babies.

We bought our baby from a lady off of Facebook (should have probably been a red flag). The lady claimed he was vaccinated and wormed. After a week of having him we found out Bruno had Parvo. After a short hospital stay, Dr Salles and team got our baby back to his puppy active self. Dr Salles personally called me with updates and was very honest about the severity of the illness. I’m happy and thankful for the wonderful care Bruno received here!!

Dr. Salles and the staff at Terry Parkway Animal Hospital provided our Nellie the best care for her emergency knee surgery. During the initial visit Dr. Salles correctly diagnosed the orthopedic problem, laid out a surgery and treatment plan to get our girl back to 100%. We had faith in the TPAH team to know and provide the best solution for Nellie to keep her happy and healthy. She used to be afraid to go to the vet, but now if she sees we are heading in the direction of Dr. Salles’ office she gets excited.
