TAO DOG® Wellness

Over the past decade I have taken part in most if not all of the services offered by Stef & Tao Dog Wellness: dog yoga, adventure training, canine conditioning and the wellness retreats. They have all had truly positive impacts for both me and my dog and our connection as a team has grown with each experience. The varied locations and terrains of the classes keeps it interesting for my dog (& me) and provides opportunities to practice our skills and connection in scenarios we encounter on our own. For example, the adventure trainings at local parks/wildlife preserves offers the opportunity for us to hike along trails with dogs of various breeds, ages and energy levels. We practice checking in, keeping our distance, stopping and simply observing life, and of course our basic skills. By the

Stef Corbeil (Tao Dog Wellness) is the fabulous leader, trainer, guide, retreat coordinator and after many years of hiking and dog yoga we are treasured friends. I have had several dogs involved in Tao Dog adventures. The depth of our bonds has grown so much and for my dogs who have passed, Stef was compassionate, sympathetic and always willing to share kindness and best dog stories. Stef is a beautiful soul. Her adventures have changed and grown along with the needs/wants of her dog friends and family. Grateful to Stef for helping me know and understand my Beagles!

Stef is such a wonderful dog trainer, intuitive advice giver and open coach. To just call her a "dog trainer" or "yoga instructor" does not do her justice. She helped my senior GSD regain strength, confidence and balance. Not to mention helping me rekindle her love of working and strengthen my own connection and trust with my dog. And then Stef left her mark on my new puppy, teaching me how to get her on a paddle board and loving the water--and it wasn't just a paddle board session, it was connecting with other dog lovers who are all there because of Stef's incredible advice, counsel and leadership. Stefanie's experience and expertise really shows in her dog training. We had a less than desirable time with a previous trainer. Stefanie was able to understand and interpret what our dog needed from us very rapidly. She helped get us on track with simple effective training methods and appropriate tools for our dog. Her classes are great for our family and almost taylor made to our individual animals needs. She offers a wide variety of classes ( dog yoga for example). We really feel like we would not have such a balanced shepherd if it were not for her patience and insight.

Stefanie has been a trainer & trusted advisor in my dogs’ lives for 13 years. As her business has expanded, I have been able to enjoy hikes, yoga and retreats w my dog. This is in addition to training and occasional board/train. Her programs is engaging, creative and continues to build the bond I share w my dog.
