Customer Reviews
The staff at Takoma Park Animal Clinic did an excellent job handling my cat’s recent illness. They allowed me to drop him off for the day and pick him up after work. They called and kept me informed as to his test results and how he was responding to treatment. When I came to pick him up, I was pleased that Dr Carey took the time, after hours, to thoroughly discuss his case and answer my questions. When handling him, the staff showed care and affection. I knew my cat would get excellent care here and they did not disappoint. Highly recommend!
They are all great--Samantha (receptionist) Louis and Adis (techs) and Dr. Carey. Always make me and my dog comfortable. I find that when either Adis or Louis wraps arms around my dogs they relax immediately. Their concern is obvious, the care they give my dogs is great. And they explain things clearly, even running through things a couple of times to make sure we are clear.
Not a good place to take an anxious dog. The tech immediately put her on the table and made her ride it while they raised it, then grabbed her in a full body press. Do your anxious or reactive dog a favor and find a vet certified fear-free instead.
The best Veterinarian in the world, Dr.Curry and a great office manager and kind, courteous and professional vet assistants. My Bernadette is hopping around like a rabbit because of the excellent service she received. Thank you all so very much from the bottom of my heart 😊❤😊

Some of that cost went toward flea medicine, which was useful, but the rest felt like a money grab. What disturbed me most was the apparent lack of empathy. The veterinarian seemed more focused on maximizing profit than on my cat's well-being—something I've never encountered with a vet before, and which I found chilling. I felt pressured into paying for a vaccine I didn't want. The staff told me they were "required by law" to vaccinate him, though he had already been vaccinated, and if I did not agree they would not see him. I felt trapped, knowing I would likely forfeit the office fee if I walked away. There are clinics that vaccinate fo
