Take The Lead Animal Rescue

I adopted from Take the Lead about 2 and a half years ago. The rescue allowed a longer than usual foster as I had concerns about Rozie's anxiety and health concerns. They even took her to a vet for a more thorough exam. Rozie became bonded w/me over those few months and eventually tolerated strangers and neighbors w/o reacting other than avoiding contact. Leanne and Donna are dedicated to making dogs and cats lives better and that starts w/them as soon as an animal arrives. They keep in contact w/adopters and are ready to offer any assistance they can. My Rozie had developed a collapsed trachea and was under treatment for a bad cough. Despite improving after a course of antibiotics, Rozie quickly developed pneumonia and passed away unexpectedly after a short illness. I would foster or adop
