Sylvania Veterinary Hospital: Wade Andrea DVM

We had an emergency with our 2-year-old cat, Neela, on Saturday. Our regular vet was closed, and the emergency clinic wasn’t open yet. After calling several local offices, this one was the only place willing to see us — and I’m so glad they did! They got us in right away, and the visit was much more affordable than an emergency clinic. Dr. Emily was incredibly kind and took the time to explain everything she found. She even addressed another health issue that our regular vet had never offered treatment options for. The vet tech was just as wonderful — attentive, knowledgeable, and so caring toward both Neela and us. Because of this experience, we’re switching all of our pets’ care to this office permanently. I can’t recommend them enough!

Would give zero stars if I could. They neglected my mom's corgi and didn't give him his meds and made him miserable. Also he had diarrhea from all the stress and anxiety and got the poop on himself and they said they clean him up....never did and mom picked him up covered in poop.... He is traumatized at home now and always wants to be by my mom's side and if she leaves or shuts door without him in room he howls and cries now.....so thanks Sylvania vet a lot. Also had bad experience with my puppy 3 years ago hence why I never went back... "Really disappointed in this place :( My boyfriend and I went on vacation this past week and had our puppy Ava stay there 5 nights and when I dropped her off I explained that she needed special food which I brought because her kibble she was currently

From making the emergency appointment, to car check in, which was mind-blowing. I've never felt so calm and able to express. Such patience and thoroughness. I've had terrible experiences taking my cats to various vets and feel traumatized, so their gentle caring easy going nature made every bit of difference. My baby boy ended up having leukemia and we gave him mercy. It was late and cleaning crew was there, but they weren't concerned with the time we wanted to take with our baby. They even apologized for the noise. The way they handled my baby and themselves was heartwarming, despite the ultimate. Thank you all so much. Also, the wall art in cat room 2, was so comforting to me. I so appreciate your willingness to take care of us.

They took care of our concerns without an appointment. It was an emergency and after checking Ellie, the results made us feel better. No more incidents. She goes back home tomorrow. Thank you for your care.

They recently raised my dogs medication prices. I don't know if this occurred with other veterinarians on this medication or not. The office seems fairly well organized and people are friendly. The Saturday afternoon hours are a big help.
