Sunriver is incredible. They got my beloved muppet dog in for a leg amputation way sooner than the vets in Portland could, and for a far more reasonable price. They were super communicative and available via text or phone throughout what could have been a very stressful ordeal. Excellent veterinarians and staff who you can tell genuinely care. 10/10 would return. Thank you Sunriver!

Sunriver vet is without a doubt the best vet I’ve ever had to deal with. I’ve been working in rescue for ten years now and I’ve had to work with a lot of them. My girl Josie (beagle) had a growth on her leg and needed a dental, this was no problem. My boy jam (Shiba whippet) needed a growth removed from his ear and a dental, and he needed special care too because he’s terrified of everything, this was no problem. Our family dog (husky) River needed a neuter, no problem. These guys are the most competent and polite people I’ve ever had the pleasure of trusting my animals with and I’ll be using them indefinitely until I literally can’t anymore.

My family and I take our pets here. We have had bad experiences in Bend but this clinic has never let us down. Staff here are always kind and take the time to explain in detail everything we need to know. My cat Elwood has a lot of issues health wise and this clinic got him in right away. He is a very shy guy and he really warmed up to the staff right away.

We love Sunriver Veterinary Clinic. Drs. Meredith, Kent and Smith are each excellent doctors, and compassionate, wonderful, and caring human beings. They are great to be around and I trust their expertise unconditionally with all of our precious family. Ashley and each of the technicians, assistants, receptionists, and entire staff are equally wonderful human beings and they are all excellent at what they do. I highly recommend Sunriver Veterinary Clinic. Their services are exceptional and they have also always been on point for specialty referrals when needed.

We were visiting from out of town when our 2.5-year-old pit bull, Rocky, suddenly started peeing dark blood. We rushed him to Sunriver Veterinary Clinic, and Dr. Salgo and her team were absolutely incredible. They were kind, calm, and compassionate during one of the scariest moments of our lives. Dr. Salgo quickly assessed him, explained everything clearly, and guided us to the emergency hospital in Bend for more advanced care. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about Rocky’s wellbeing and our peace of mind. We’re so grateful for her and the entire staff at Sunriver Vet — they helped us get Rocky the help he needed right when he needed it most.
