Sunnyvale Animal Shelter

Only takes animals from the sunneyvale location. Even if you live literally 2 miles outside of the town. Whats the point of even being a shelter if you wont help animals.

Amazing staff that truly care about the animals in their care. Facility was clean and well kept. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, the adoption process was easy and convenient. Thanks for helping bring Jack home!

Called to see if I could bring a dog I found on the side of the road to the shelter and the lady on the phone was totally rude and told me I couldn’t bring the dog because I didn’t have a exact address from where I found her despite me giving her the general area since it was mostly trees and concrete. I’ve never heard of someone not being able to bring a dog down to a shelter because I couldn’t give an exact address. Get a new receptionist with a nice attitude and some empathy for animals or else don’t work at an animal shelter.

I lost my dog after many years at 18. Devastated. Sunnyvale got me the most amazing dog and I cldnt ever thank em enough. Amazing staff and such beautiful animals. Thank u so so so much so helping me find my new best friend when I wasn't sure if I wld. Id recommend them to anyone. Great staff and tons of time is spent working with these animals. Can't say enough great things.😀😀😀😀

FrankAnimal Control Officer is so very nice and very knowledgeable about animal care. The cats and dogs up for adoption are very well cared for and the place is spotless. Sunnyvale is lucky to have such a wonderful man doing that job!!
