Sun Valley Animal Clinic

I hate leaving bad reviews. However, this morning we had an emergency with one of our dogs and my husband asked, where should he take our dog? And I told him don't even bother trying out Sun Valley. So I decided I probably should write this review to warn others. Back in June, my pug fell off our bed, and his nail became detached, and he was bleeding. I immediately took him to this place. I didn't even get to the counter before the receptionist rudely asked if we had an appointment. I said no and tried to explain what happened, but I was interrupted by her saying they don't talk walk-ins until Saturday. (This was on a Wednesday) This left a foul taste in my mouth and as I stated above, don't even bother if you're pet is having an emergency. 🤷‍♀️

I was a bit disappointed with my visit. When I called to make my appointment, I specifically mentioned that my dog has skin issues due to allergies and I need to set him up with a vet for treatment since we are new in town. At my appointment they basically said we won't be able to help, we are not equipped for the services he needs. They should have told me that up front. Also, they should request records before the visit so that they have everything upfront. I let them know that I had an email with their records and if I could email it. They said just wait until the appointment. Needless to say I drove to northeast vetinary and they were amazing.

Great place to take your dog for any vet needs. The doctor/staff was awesome.

Very sad the owner of this clinic refused to see my dogs for updated vaccination because I took one of them there prior to be neutered and they couldn't do it so took took to another vet I have used, when I called to do the right thing having a schedule appointment for vaccinations was told to go somewhere else, dr didn't want to do anything with my animals, i know there's 2 sides to everything. However I never will refer this company!!! My dogs are non aggressive, beautiful animals and need better than this clinic! I'm posting this so people will take into consideration, about someone who is supposed to care about our furry babies!

I took my cat in to get spayed. They were great. I called for information the day before and they were very helpful. They staff was friendly and very attentive to all the customers. They explained the post-op care for my cat and said they would call in the next few days to check in on her. It really puts you at ease knowing they are knowledgeable
