Summerfields Animal Hospital

I’ve been bringing my babies here for a while now. The staff is so friendly and always takes good care of my babies. When this one needed an emergency surgery they helped calm my anxiety and ensured he was well taken care of during his overnight stay. I love the staff here and so do my babies. 🖤🖤

So we showed up at 6:45 and explained to the blond headed lady my daughter’s cat is limping and we were afraid it was broke. She told us they close in 15 minutes and said there were other places we could take him to. In my book, 15 min before close time means you were still open for another 15 minutes, and if you had compassion for an animal you would have not been concerned about the 15 minutes. We took him somewhere else and turns out the foot was broken. We have taken several of our other pets here and spent alot of money on them. Not real happy that our cat was turned away in a time of need and we won’t be coming back. We would have paid for his care. You just lost a repeat customer. I don’t normally take my time to post bad reviews, only good ones, but when it comes to our pets

Update 1/7: We saw Dr. Hammer today, as Fluffy developed an abscess. Our follow up wasnt for another couple days, so Im glad they were able to get us in. Dr. Hammer was just as thorough as Dr. Driskill! I seriously cannot say how much I appreciate this vet - I wasnt planning on adopting another rat, but when I saw this guy needed help I just had to help him, and this office was able to get us in to give him the medical care he needs 😢 🥹 Seriously love you all so much 😭 1/3: I adopted a naked rat who's previous cagemate had beaten him up pretty badly, and was calling around trying to find an appointment for him. Thank goodness this vet is open until 7pm on Saturdays, they were able to get him in and checked out. The vet Dr. Driskill was incredibly thorough and answered all of my concerns,

Took my dog in cuz he was constantly drinking and I knew something wasn't right. They basically told me to just keep an eye on him that Jack russells are just very active. He then developed a lump a couple of weeks later. I took him to a different vet for a second opinion, and come to find out he had cancer and it could have been treated with chemo If summerfield had actually done their job. Unfortunately it was too late and we had to put him down

While we prefer to talk about how great the care of our tiny Trixie dog was, today we had to put her to her final rest as she was suffering in the late stage of life. The team was incredibly compassionate amd caring. They helped us enjoy the last remaining years with her in mostly comfort and showed so much care today. We really appreciate everyone's kindness and patience as we greived.
