I have taken both my cats here for years and always have such a positive experience. My cat is very anxious and has been her entire life. They are always so accommodating and aware. Today, I took my cat in for a wellness exam and vaccinations. I can't remember the doctor's name, but he was someone I haven't seen before (I was told he was somewhat new to the field). I usually have a wonderful woman (I also can't remember her name, she has brown hair).. the doctor I saw today was immediately in the mindset of my cat's life is terrible and I should be really concerned and should consider putting her on medication indefinitely. Like he had never seen a cat at a vet before.. I have always been told my cats are in great condition and "whatever you're doing keep doing it". Today was opposite and

We are visiting from home and came to get our pup a health certificate and seen for a few more things! Dr. Perez was seriously the nicest, most upbeat, kind vet we have ever seen! Balto has been to vets from Hawaii to Alaska and truly this was the best experience we’ve ever had with a vet, especially a new one! From check-in to payment we felt well taken care of, everything was explained to us! She even went above and beyond to give us advice on new non medical anxiety solutions. If we are back in SLC with Balto, we will be back and will be requesting Dr. Perez!

I took my dog to Sugar House Veterinary as a new patient the other day and they were absolutely wonderful. They took so much time to get to know him and his history and were very thorough with his exam. Their recommendations and follow-through were impressive. Couldn't be happier!

I have different opinions for this vet clinic because of the drastic difference in their quality of doctors. I’ll start with Dr. Perez, Dr. Perez is the best vet I’ve ever had, she is so kind and patient and amazing with all my cats! She always does such a good job and working with the animals and making sure both the animals and owners are well taken care of. You can really tell she loves her job! Thank you for always helping and being so great Dr. Perez!!! Dr. Ackerman should have his vet license revoked. I’ve had multiple bad experiences with Dr. Ackerman with multiple pets. We went in for a check up with one cat and without doing any tests we were told that our cat has a serious heart disease and we were told to come back a different day to maybe do tests. Just took my dog to see a female vet at their hospital location in Sugarhouse and honestly it was the best vet experience I've ever had! The vet (I can't remember her name) was so kind and gentle with my 85 lb great Pyrenees mix. She explained everything as she administered the exam and vaccinations. My dog can alert bark sometimes and he was completely at ease with her! Honestly so happy I found her and Sugarhouse vet!
