Stubby's Grooming Salon Monument

Kirsten at the Monument location was so patient and took excellent care of our 13 year old German Shepherd Vivian. Vivian has weak hips making it difficult for her to stand for long periods of time or walk on slick floors. Kirsten gave her gentle breaks as not to overwhelm her. I am so grateful. Vivian left Stubby’s like a happy puppy. Vivian looked beautiful for Christmas and spotted her pink gingerbread bandanna.

I took my dog Rocky to Stubby’s for grooming and had an excellent experience! They were able to get me in quickly and my appointment started right on time. The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and clearly cared about making sure Rocky was comfortable. They asked solid questions about his background, had me fill out a quick form to verify his health and vaccines, and then took him to the back to start his grooming. They worked with him for about an hour. The base price was around $50, which I think is fair for what they offer. I added their seasonal shampoo/conditioner package which came with some treats and a bandanna. That brought my total to about $70-75 before tip, and around $85 after tipping. We had a fantastic experience at Stubby's Monument. As golden retriever puppy owners, we weren’t sure when or how to start grooming, but we knew we would need help managing all that fur at some point. They walked us through the process and explained how early exposure to grooming helps puppies get comfortable and confident. The team is patient, gentle, and clearly loves what they do. Highly recommend this place if you want a positive start to your dog’s grooming journey!

Ella and her team are absolutely amazing. Our rescue sher pei needed to be groomed horribly so, but has been so abused previously he can only be transported inside his kennel. Ella could care less and they made him feel secure and pampered even with his special needs. Typically he covers and shakes in the corner but their gentle touch and sweet nature made it the best experience for this poor guy. We love Stubys and Ella and her team!!!! Ps. Hoppers mohawk is so cute!!!

We really appreciate the care Ella at Stubbys gave Willow. I had no idea certain grooming services were not recommended for pregnant dogs for the safety of mom and pups; I am so thankful for their help and guidance. Ella genuinely cared about Willow, and it showed.
