Stubbs Dog House

I HIGHLY recommend Stubbs! Our Weimaraner Walther came home a happier dog from all the playtime he had with newfound friends! We were hesitant to take him someplace new due to our family recently having to say goodbye to Walther’s sister and since we are newer to the area, we consulted Newport Veterinary Hospital for a reference and they gave Stubbs a very strong recommendation and we reached out and scheduled a stay. He’s never been without our female, so we weren’t sure how he’d do. Thankfully Jeff listened and responded to our concerns with compassion and understanding and took time to update us periodically on his state of mind and activities and even sent several photos! We don’t leave our dog, Simon, often but have tried a few places local to us over the years and Stubbs is easily our fav. Sam was easy to communicate with, sensitive to some unique needs, and I really appreciated the updates we got throughout his stay. Simon stayed busy, was well cared for, and came home happily exhausted!

My fiance and I left our little monster (chihuahua/min pin mix) with Jeff and Sam for the weekend, and we couldn't be happier with our decision to bring him to them! He played with other dogs in the big yard every day and went on walks, too! They clipped his nails and even introduced him to an agility course. We couldn't be happier with their care and despite the drive - Milton to Newport- we will definitely be bringing him back the next time we leave town!

If you are looking for excellent, reliable care for your precious pooch, we are pleased to recommend Stubbs Doghouse! Our four year old Labrador Retriever, Gypsy, received wonderful care. Sam provided videos of Gypsy happily playing with other dogs at the facility. We are so grateful to have Stubbs Dog House in our area!

This is a great place for when you need to lodge your dog. My dog is use to being in an apartment on the account that I live in a city. But when I can make the time to go up to Newport, I make sure to add sometime for her to enjoy a vacation as well. She always comes back happier and looking younger.
