Tammy and her team are angels walking this earth!! The amount of dedication and love that they pour into these beautiful creatures is above and beyond. Her rehab and rescue efforts are completely led by her compassionate heart! She never gives up on a single horse. I was lucky enough to adopt 3 horses from her. She took the time to make sure I was a qualified candidate and she also helped teach me how to properly care of horses, since I’m a beginner. They delivered them to my home and the very next day I noticed something was off—- without hesitation Tammy and Kristen rushed to my house to ultimately save sweet “Candy’s” life. Stricker Sunshine Rescue Ranch is a top notch rescue. It is run by an inspiring couple- Tammy and Al. They truly put their everything into helping better the lives of animals they save. They strive to give second chances to animals who are usually given up on and tossed away. I have always loved animals but never knew how special being part of volunteering at a rescue is. I highly recommend anyone who loves giving back while also helping animals to reach out to this rescue and help with volunteering and/or donating. I have volunteered 3 full days so far and always look forward to my next visit! We need more people like Tammy & Al in this world!

I inquired about adopting a couple of their horses, a colt named “Riley” and two minis. I was able to come out and meet them. The facility was very well kept and clean and pretty. All the horses were in great condition. I am so pleased with our new additions. They transported them to us and you can tell how well loved they were. Highly recommend adopting from or donating to a great organization.

They are so nice and we had a great time with all the horse. All the horses are very happy.
