Stokes County Animal Shelter

Called in and asked if tater tot was available. They said yes!!! They were happy to see us arrive. Tater tot the potato came out and he was soo happy. How ever this past still hangs over him. Its okay buddy you're in good hands. He hates vehicles, so that leads me to believe that he was dumped. Still being young we can turn him around to being a loyal and smart potato 😂

Attention: Stokes County Took Apart Of Me And Euthanized My Cats, Tom and Jerry! I lived in Pinnacle down below the fire department for 30 years. After our previous died some other people bought it. It was three years after she bought it, she asked us to move our trailer. I am disabled now and my husband has rheumatoid arthritis. We only had 13 days to move. My husband at 60 had to move it all because I was unable too. I had called the animal shelter for help on moving 3 of my cats. They told me they could loan me the traps but could not assist me. I had to leave them behind but yet drove up to Pinnacle everyday to feed them from Winston Salem. After about a year, I rode up there with a friend of mine to feed them and my cats did not come when I called for them. As we were getting ready to

Officer Dewan and John are two of the nicest men I have met. Both gentlemen assisted in capturing a dumped kitty and her kittens at my house. Thank you both.

This place is a very friendly shelter! Me and my mom were out looking for a dog to adopt n give a great home ! The workers were extremely friendly and sweet ! We ended up finding our forever fur baby. Miss Linda (Luna ) she is the sweetest dog you could ever imagine she loves to be loved on and cuddle in bed and go for walks! 10/10 would adopt from here again ❤️

Absolutely disgusting animal shelter they put down both of my dogs for absolutely no reason this animal shelter needs to be shut down someone save these poor animals
