I cannot recommend Stealing Hearts Rescue enough. Over the past 9 years, I have adopted three dogs — Romeo, Swayze, and Charlee— and every experience has been exceptional. Toni, the owner, is kind, attentive, incredibly knowledgeable, and always quick to respond. She truly cares for the dogs, keeps amazing records, remembers every detail, and goes above and beyond to make sure each animal is placed in the right home. The rescue is affordable without ever compromising care. Stealing Hearts Rescue is like family and I will always and only adopt through this rescue. 🐾❤️

I can say enough about this Rescue. The adoption of my pup went so well. Toni gave me solid advice about which dog would work better for my lifestyle. When I got him, he had been very well cared for. But Toni works with the dogs that she has to prepare them for a better entry into their new home. My 4 month old puppy went through very little stress in the transition and acclimated quickly. You can tell that Toni cares about the dogs and placing them in good homes. Please adopt from Stealing Hearts if you are considering it!

We are forever grateful and in debt to Stealing hearts rescue! Almost a year ago they rescued Dawson who is now our newest addition to the family, but you would think he has known us for years! Toni was incredible to work with and very thorough that he was coming to a good family. I have every resource at had from her that I could possibly need. She has also helped out with questions after the adoption. He is the most perfect dog you wouldn’t even know he’s been sheltered for 18 months and left tied to a fence. He knows every command you could think of and is such a lover. He is the best!! I can’t say enough good things about Toni and Stealing Hearts Rescue.

Stealing Hearts Rescue should be called Healing Hearts Rescue because that’s what they’ve done for our family after the losses of our two pit mixes within a few months of each other. I had applied to rescue any dog and when I explained to Toni what we were hoping for, she not only suggested a puppy since we had a kitty, but she said, “I have just the puppy for you.” The way she observes her dogs and puppies and really gets to know their personalities and predict their behavior is nothing short of amazing because she truly did pick out the perfect puppy for us. We adopted Breeze, later renamed Phoebe, nearly 3 years ago and she is THE perfect family dog. We all love and cherish her to the moon and back and should we decide to expand our fur family again, we will go to Toni before anyone els

I have had a wonderful experience with Stealing Hearts Rescue. I already had one older girl who I know is very strong-willed when I started looking for my second pup. Toni was very helpful in guiding me toward a dog that would be a good fit for me and my first fur baby. We ended up adopting an adorable little boy who has been a great fit! Toni has also been great about checking in on how things are going and provided the info of a wonderful behaviorist if needed to make the transition for my older dog smoother. The puppy and I are returning later this week to get his last round of puppy vaccinations so he can officially take on the world.
