We had a wonderful experience at our annual exam with my nervous large-breed dog. Dr. Shy and Mary Slay were incredibly patient, efficient, and clearly practice excellent medicine. They made the entire visit smooth and low-stress, which means a lot when you have an anxious dog. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for compassionate, high-quality care

I recently moved here and my cat got sick. They fit me in no problem. Throughout the whole time they never pressured anything. They tried to address all concerns in the least possible manner. Unfortunately, despite their best efforts it just wasn’t meant to be. Everyone was friendly and compassionate. They even sent flowers. You can tell the staff real cares about their patients.

I haven't lived in Starkville long but I will say that the two time that I have had the pleasure of bringing my pups to Starkville Veterinary Hospital were fabulous. From the front desk, to the techs, to Dr. Dewberry herself, I have never felt more welcomed in a clinic. The clear communication, smiles, and good medicine make Starkville Veterinary Hospital a must for your beloved pet!

My dog and I love everyone here, from the front room staff to the techs to the vets. They are all so friendly and really seem to care about my dog. They're always able to get my dog in quickly for appts. I trust SVH with the care of my dog!!

I took my puppy here for her first vet visit, and she absolutely loved it! The staff were incredibly kind and gentle with her, making the whole experience so positive. Everyone was welcoming, and you can tell they truly care about the animals. The prices were also very reasonable and easy to work with. Highly recommend!
