I can't say enough about the quality of care my dogs have received at St. Francis. My vet there is Dr. Polhinke who is nothing short of outstanding. He had cared for all my dogs and continues to care for the one I have now. He is personable, thorough, extremely knowlegable and will talk to you about available medications and treatment. My wife and myself are thrilled to have him as a vet and his Vet Tech "Nicole" is equally qualified and helpful. We travel far to get to this vet because we know that the dog will get outstanding treatment and care and will be offered the services the dog needs and not pushed into expensive treatments. We thank Dr. Polehinke and Nicole for their care and devotion to us and our dog.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful—answering all of my questions with patience and care. The veterinarian was thorough, compassionate, and truly took the time to make sure my dog was comfortable during the visit. It’s clear they genuinely care about their patients and the families who love them. I’m so grateful to have found such a clean, professional, and trustworthy place for my pup’s care. The staff are wonderful! Kind, caring, thoughtful and courteous. Dr. Nicole Rufrano was so patient and respectful . She made my Rottweiler comfortable in a stressful situation. They care about the animals and their parents. I have already recommended them to my family and friends .

We recently had to make the heartbreaking decision to put our beloved 12½-year-old Doberman girl to sleep at St. Francis Veterinary Hospital. Anyone who has gone through this knows how incredibly difficult that moment is. I want to share how grateful we are for the doctors and staff. They were compassionate and professional in a way that truly mattered—gentle, comforting, and also clear and thoughtful in explaining what needed to be done. Our family was able to be in the room, and the experience was as peaceful and dignified as one could hope for under such painful circumstances. A sincere thank you to the doctors and staff at St. Francis for the care, kindness, and respect they showed our beautiful girl and our family.

Everyone is so nice and efficient too! From the front desk to the vet and the vet techs, they all show great patience and great care with my senior dog. I had been going to another vet for 20+ years and my only regret is I didn't switch to St. Francis sooner.
