Spruce Hill Kennels

I have taken my fur baby (Lito) here 3 times now. He stays for over a week at a time and I do not worry about him while he's there. Lito is excited to be there. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Staff and owners are knowledgeable and takes care of their guest. They also have grooming services that are amazing. I had Lito bathed and nails clipped this last time he stayed. He smelt so good but not perfume smell. His nails were cute short and not all cracked. Lito's nails are all black so I can never get anyone to cut them correctly. This is an hour drive and there are other kennels closer to me but I will not take Lito anywhere else but Spruce Hill Kennel.

I left my dog with this facility for 6 nights and do not recommend. My dog seems to be ok just extremely tired and lost a lot of weight. Which I expected her to not eat as well being her first time. My cousin also boarded her 2 dogs at the same time and one of them ended up extremely sick. Bloody diarrhea and an open wound on his back which the staff should have noticed when if they cleaned the kennel twice daily as stated. As of now 12/31/25 there is a disease in the facility and people should be aware of this as I’m sure staff is not making that known!

Left my dog there as well,He did come home with diarrhea, I was not notified on him having diarrhea, I'm sure they knew he had it since they claim to scoop and clean multiple times throughout the day,My concern is why have I not been notified of my granddaughters dog being sick and could possibly make the other animals sick,if she wasn't my granddaughter I would never know,that poor baby is deathly sick, Should be a concern for all animals being in their care, what happened to him just didn't happen the day he came home,you had to notice his condition, So my baby will definitely not be back!!!! Do not recommend!!!!!!

if i could rate a -10 i would. my cat has razor marks all over him but that’s not the worst thing. my cat has not stopped shaking since he has come home. this groomer has traumatized my cat. what she told me she did to my cat, made my heart drop. here’s a few notes. bare with me. once receiving my little baby back, she said she has to hold down his back legs and hold him down completely and to be able to shave him. at that point, please just call me. no groomer has ever said he has been a problem. my cat now suffers from ptsd due to what this groomer did. PLEASE do not take your cat there. this has never happened before until this experience. i no longer can touch my baby without him jumping and trembling. i will not be forgiving this place and am forewarning you.

We boarded our 2 dogs from 9/12 to 9/16. It was by far the best customer service I have experienced in any businesstransaction. One of my dogs experienced a health issue and their care for her was far above normal sevice. They will take care of your 'babies'.
